Katherine Pieronek, Instructional Supervisor

Katherine Pieronek is in her second year as the Instructional Supervisor at Hamilton Elementary School. Prior to becoming the Instructional Supervisor, she has had many years of leadership as an Instructional Coach and as the Summer Enrichment Site Leader. Mrs. Pieronek has been in the Schenectady City Schools for 16 years and has held many different roles, including 10 years as classroom teacher (Kindergarten and sixth grade) and 4 years as an Instructional Coach. Her educational experience includes a Bachelor of Science in Education from the College of Saint Rose, Masters of Science in Education in Literacy from SAGE Graduate School, Certificate in Advanced Study in School Building Leader and District Leader from SUNY  Plattsburgh. 

On a personal note, Mrs. Pieronek enjoys spending time with her husband Victor and their three children Mikayla, Brady, Kelly and dog Sofie. She enjoys watching her children and your children grow and learn everyday. Mrs. Pieronek  treats all of the students at Hamilton Elementary as if they were her own. She has continued her career in education for the children and to model how to be lifelong learners. Mrs. Pieornek became a leader to provide a safe and caring environment where students can come to learn and want to learn everyday.
