Joshua Bate is a dynamic part of MLK.  He is always quick to warmly greet families, students and staff when they enter the school.  He is passionate about student learning and positive outcomes for all students.  Mr. Bate celebrates students as unique individuals through awards assemblies, getting to know them, calling home with positive referrals and academic success.  Every spirit day has him wearing funny wigs or clothes.  He wants everyone to know three things; that he is proud of the work the teachers do with the students, that families can come to him with their concerns and that the students are amazing people with great contributions to our school and community.
