Paige is named in honor of Alonzo C. Paige (1797-1868), who was a Schenectady lawyer, a New York State Assemblyman, New York State Senator, an esteem justice of the New York State Supreme Court and a member of the first Board of Education of the Schenectady Common Schools. 

At Paige Elementary School, we work as a team with our families.  We believe family engagement is important and encourage all of parents to be active in their child's education and on the path to graduation.

Every student's path includes excellent teachers, school leaders and other caring adults at all levels of education who can help them meet academic expectations, plan for the future and feel connected to their schools.

We provide a variety of programs and opportunities designed to spark individual interest and keep students engaged in learning.  Each student is provided with resources and academic support to ensure that they are able to successfully navigate the path to graduation.
