From the Principal's Desk

Dear Schenectady High School Community,

As the fresh breezes of Spring usher in new beginnings and the anticipation of summer, let's take a moment to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible journey we have embarked on together this academic year. With just 25 days left until the Regents exams, the sense of urgency is palpable. I encourage all our young people to continue to persevere, seek support when needed, and maintain their hard work. Parents and guardians, your ongoing collaboration and engagement are vital as we support our students through this crucial phase. We are all in this together!

This month, we proudly celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. Our teachers are the true superheroes in our building. I am thrilled to highlight our unique "Guardians of Schenectady High School" comic book slideshow, which perfectly captures the heroic spirit of our educators. They inspire, challenge, and care for our students every day, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.

Additionally, let's extend our gratitude to our dedicated school nurses on School Nurse Appreciation Day. Their unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of our students is nothing short of heroic.

With the end of the school year in sight, please be vigilant in checking your mail for important information regarding Regents, Prom, and Graduation. These events are milestones in our students' lives, and we look forward to celebrating every moment with them.

As we enjoy the vibrant energy of spring, let us also remember that the countdown is on. Let's finish this year strong, together. See below for more updated information.

Warm regards,

Principal Green, Schenectady High School
