Sarah Horaczek is the Cohort Principal for Big Picture Schenectady which opened September 2023. Prior to planning for the opening of this school, Sarah supervised the ATLAS tutoring program and K-12 programs at Washington Irving Education Center. Sarah has been an educator for 21 years. During her career she has worked as a teaching assistant in special education, a K-8 teacher in New York City and Menands, an Instructional Technology Integration Specialist, a K-12 Principal, and a Director of Special Education and Student Support Services. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership through the University at Albany.
