How you can support the SHS Blue Roses Theatre Company

We are pleased to welcome you to The Blue Roses Theatre Company’s 2017-2018 season.

Please welcome Mr. Peter Muste to the BRTC family. Mr. Muste comes to Schenectady after teaching in Rockland County.  He has worked as a theatre professional and teacher in New York and around the country.

BRTC's first production of the season,an adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s Newbery Award Winning novel, A Wrinkle in Time, will open on November 15.  The story follows a young heroine, Meg Murry, who is on a quest to save her father from the evil “IT.” Along the way, she teams up with three of literature’s quirkiest “Mrs.,” her genius younger brother, Charles Wallace, among other notable personalities.

Performances will take place in the SHS Black Box on November 15, 16, 17 and 18 at 7:00 p.m. with an additional show at 2 p.m. on November 18.

In order to be featured in the program for BRTC's first production of the season, A Wrinkle in Time, please make sure to send your information and a check made out to BRTC/SHS Drama by Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
In March, BRTC will present The Addams Family musical comedy and  later in the season, a couple of one act plays.  

The students involved in the Blue Roses Theatre Company are enthusiastic, kind and hardworking. Your contributions to this company directly enable these students to pursue their passions, create lasting friendships, and provide transforming theatrical experiences.
