Summary

Students in the Visual and Performing Arts engage in four years of visual or performing arts courses, including theater, music, visual art, dance, video or music production while engaging in both the practice and study of these arts. While studying students will create and present art, respond to art created by others, and connect art to our local community and society as a whole. Students from this community will develop an appreciation, understanding, curiosity of the arts and be prepared to enter a college or career in the visual or performing arts. This can include but is not limited to, pursuing an apprenticeship, 2 year, 4 year, or advanced degree in the Fine Arts. Students will have the opportunity to explore pathways that can include trade schools, apprenticeships, or directly enter the workforce.
