I provide services in three primary ways to meet the needs of every student:

Classroom Lessons (Tier 1): I regularly visit classrooms to teach fun, interactive lessons to all students. Topics include identifying feelings, friendship skills, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
Small Group Counseling (Tier 2): Students who share a similar challenge or skill deficit (identified through data) may join a small group for 6-8 weeks. Groups are a safe place to practice new skills with peers.
- Example: "Super Student Toolkit" group focusing on executive functioning skills like organization, planning, and academic readiness.
Individual Counseling (Tier 2/3): I offer brief, short-term, one-on-one counseling to help students work through a specific challenge or crisis. If a student requires long-term, intensive therapy, I partner with families to provide effective community referrals.

At the elementary level, College and Career Readiness is all about exploration and understanding the world of work. These awareness activities are crucial for building the foundation for future goals and aligning with our CDOS Standards.

Events: Throughout the year, we host engaging, hands-on events and host a week in the spring that focuses directly on College and Career Readiness, we partner with families and the community, to expose all students in prek-grade 5 to various careers and the education required for them.
Goal: To help students connect what they are learning in the classroom to their potential future, and to encourage the mindset that lifelong learning is necessary for long-term success.
