Caroline Bardwell a local business owner and 1997 graduate of Schenectady High School remembers the special connection she had with her teachers and classmates. "I would say my fondest memories of high school were with the different friends that I made from classes, sports, chorus, etc., many of which remain my closest friends to this day. The Gazette wrote an article about me an my favorite teacher, Dr. Wolos (Honors Engish), who had a way of connecting with students on the same level. I also often reflect on my appreciation for the diversity of urban schools and I'm proud to have my kids enrolled in Schenectady schools"
