Friends Of Music is a volunteer organization of parents and teachers who want to support the music programs in the Schenectady City School District. 

Friends of Music raises money and solicits donations to:

• purchase new and used instruments for students at all levels

• purchase vocal and instrumental music supplies

• repair instruments and sound equipment

• provide scholarship money for music-related field trips

• provide music awards to graduating seniors

• assist with the costs of music competitions and auditions

• host concerts and music events

• assist with transportation and other music related expenses

Please consider supporting us by:

• joining at whatever membership level you are able

• supporting our fundraising efforts

• attending our meetings on the second Tuesday of each month
  at various schools.

• donating a used instrument
