What I love the most about working in Schenectady Schools is giving back to my community. I not only love my job as a cleaner but I also love being there for our kids and being involved.  

When I attended Schenectady High School, my math teacher and basketball coach Mark Sauseville, inspired me in the classroom & on the court. I had to earn being a manager on our basketball team, he always said if your grades are not good, you can't help out on the team. He treated me like the players. He always preached grades before basketball . 

My fondest memory of Schenectady Schools was being part of the boys Varsity Basketball team as a manager for the 2001 Ny State Championship Team. I looked up to all of them . Their hard work and dedication paid off. I learned so much from that group and they helped me stay focused on school throughout my four years at Schenectady High School. It was an honor being part of our basketball team from 2000-2005 .
