Congratulations to Yates Elementary School who last week was named Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Day Superpower Video Winner in the Committee for Children's video contest.
The Committee for Children invited families, educators, and communities to join their efforts and champion the skills kids need to thrive.
A competition was held to create a video describing your SEL superpower: relationship skills, responsible decision-making, self-awareness, self-management, or social awareness.
As the champion, Yates won a registration to CASEL's 2024 Exchange Conference which is the nation's largest conference on social and emotional learning (SEL).
