Passionate Person of the Week: Chantel Providence-Douglas This week, we recognize Chantel Providence-Douglas, Secretary at Keane, who is our Passionate Person of the Week! Chantel shares: "Over my 11 years with the district, I've had the privilege of serving as a Lunch Monitor, Paraprofessional, Teacher's Assistant, Safety Monitor, and currently as an Information Processing Specialist 1. I love my work because I believe in pouring back into the very place and people who have poured into me." Thank you, Chantel, for your dedication!
Teacher of the Week: Amy Haas We highlight Amy Haas, Reading Teacher at MLK, who is our Teacher of the Week! Amy shares: "I love teaching in Schenectady because I get to help students discover the joy of learning, the power of hard work, and the delight of sharing a good book with others. My students and colleagues inspire me to keep learning new ways to bring words to life, and I love figuring out what will help each student succeed. It is an incredible gift to get to watch students overcome obstacles, grin with confidence, and ask for another book!" Thank you, Amy, for inspiring our students!
