Day 2 of School Bus Safety Week focuses on Safe Stops and the Danger Zone 🛑🚌.

The most critical time for students is when they are getting on or off the bus. This area around the bus is known as the Danger Zone because the bus driver may not be able to see children there.

Time to celebrate our unsung heroes! 🎉

Today is National Custodian Appreciation Day, and we are shining the spotlight on our incredible Custodial Services Team.

They are the indispensable backbone of our schools, working tirelessly—often before the sun rises and long after it sets—to ensure our facilities are safe, healthy, and welcoming for every student and staff member.

From rigorous sanitation and maintenance to setting up for every assembly and event, their dedication is the foundation of our positive learning environment. Thank you for your unwavering professionalism and commitment.

Please drop a quick "thank you" to your school custodians and cleaners today.

Back to School Nights
There have been a few incidents recently where children were approached by strangers on their way to or from school or while waiting for the bus. We want to thank the students who did the right thing by immediately reporting what happened, which allowed police to respond promptly.

Your child's safety is our top priority, and we ask that you take a moment to review and reinforce important safety habits with them. Please remind your child to always report anything that seems suspicious to a trusted adult, whether it's a parent, teacher, or police officer. Having these conversations can give them the confidence to respond safely in any situation.
