Dear Pleasant Valley Families & Community Members,
At Pleasant Valley Elementary School, we are committed to ensuring every student has the tools, support, and instruction they need to succeed. To keep you informed and involved in your child’s education, we are writing to share an update regarding the school’s accountability status and invite you to an important conversation.
Based on recent performance data, Pleasant. Valley Elementary School has been designated by New York State as a Receivership school. While this designation indicates that our school needs to make faster progress in areas like student achievement and attendance, it also provides us with a unique opportunity to access additional resources and implement bold, new strategies to support our students.
Your voice is a vital part of our school community. We encourage you to attend an upcoming Public Hearing to learn more about what this status means, the progress we are making, and how we plan to move forward together.
