Any car pool students who could hold off on drop off would be appreciated.
I will continue to update everyone as we get information.
Thank you,

Dear Van Families,
We are working with students this month on a very intentional focus around literacy and reading. In school, students will have a DEAR time where they will Drop Everything And Read as an entire building daily. As a class they will be decorating their classroom doors to depict their favorite book, and we will be looking for you to be the judges of the best door on January 28th at our Literacy night.😊We have also sent home reading logs to have students track their reading at home. Please sign these each day, to be turned in at the end of each week, as each class is also competing to see who read the most this month.
We are excited to get students excited about reading.
Thank you for your help.

Join us tomorrow evening at 4:30 p.m. at Schenectady HS for a chat and Q&A with Carlos Moreno, co-executive director of Big Picture Learning and author. He is a passionate education trailblazer who supports schools in efforts to improve. Everyone is welcome!
