Looking to move, learn, and have fun? Quest INC. is offering free youth and community dance classes.
Class Schedule:
Mondays (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM): Ballet
Tuesdays (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM): Modern Dance
Pointe (6:00 PM – 6:15 PM): At teacher's discretion
Saturdays (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM): Choreography (Possible addition)

On Friday, October 2, our district will participate in our annual required Emergency Early Dismissal Drill.
All students will be dismissed 15 minutes earlier than their regularly scheduled dismissal time.
This annual drill is a required test of our emergency communication systems and safety protocols to ensure our schools and families are prepared in the event of an unscheduled early dismissal.
Important Details for October 2 :
* All schools will release students 15 minutes early. Please adjust your schedule or transportation arrangements accordingly.
*All elementary after-school programs are cancelled for the afternoon.
* All middle and high school sporting events and athletic practices will proceed as scheduled.
If you have any questions regarding dismissal procedures for your child, please contact your school’s main office.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the Schenectady City School District and Athletic Department learn of the passing of legendary coach, mentor, and community leader Carmen “Carm” DePoalo.
For over five decades, "Coach Carm" poured his heart into our youth and community, from leading the Schenectady High School varsity football team to new heights, to founding youth leagues, supporting labor families, and mentoring generations of student-athletes on and off the field. His impact on Schenectady athletics and the Capital Region will endure for generations.
Our thoughts, love, and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, former players, and all who were touched by his exceptional life.
