Strawberry the lamb and Rihanna the kid goat came to visit Mrs. Blood's CTE 7th grade Agriculture class at Central Park Middle School. The students learned about the life cycle of animals, the digestive systems of ruminants versus monogastric systems and animal behaviors. In the next few weeks, the class will also be hatching baby chicks! #SchenectadyFarms #SchenectadyRising

🍽 Students in Mrs. Wright's 8th grade CTE hospitality class were visited by Alicia Kepesis, an author who has traveled and lived all around the world. Students learned about different cultures and foods and sampled more than 40 foods from all over the world.🌍

🎬The SEP Theatre Camp is open to students entering grades 3-5 in fall 2024.
Students will learn acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft skills. The camp will culminate in a performance of Swamped the musical.

Congratulations to Isabelle Zeglen, a junior at Schenectady HS, who earned a 3rd place medal at the NYS SkillsUSA competition. Nearly 60 students representing 21 school districts competed in events that showcased their work-related skills during the state competition.
