🎞 SHS students watched " Last Shot" a documentary written and directed by Prince Sprauve, about Eddie Stanley jr. After the film, Eddie Stanley Sr. and Sprauve led group discussions with students. #SchenectadyRising

Last night SHS 10th grader Suraj Singh spoke about the significance of Phagwa/Holi and how it is celebrated. Roshni Mangru performed a beautiful Holi dance.
As part of our district's efforts to be inclusive of all, we will be closed on March 25 in observance of Holi.
Joyce Akhelume, a Schenectady HS senior, took her seat at the table last night as a board of education student rep. While Joyce & Zohanna Nizrudin are not voting members, they bring student voice & perspective to discussions with the board.
