Minds Matter: Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠💚
This month isn’t just about a green ribbon ... it's about acknowledging that mental health is essential to overall well-being.
Mental health is not a "sidebar" to education. It's the foundation of it. We cannot expect our community to thrive academically or professionally if we aren't prioritizing our well-being. This month, let’s commit to checking in, leaning on one another, and remembering that it is okay to not be okay
Three Reminders:
1️⃣ Rest is Productive: Taking a break isn't "quitting."Recharging your mind is the most strategic thing you can do for your long-term goals.
2️⃣ Vulnerability is a Power Move: Reaching out, whether to a friend, a counselor, or a support group, takes more raw courage than suffering in silence.
3️⃣.Small Wins are Still Wins: On the heavy days, getting to class, staying hydrated, or simply showing up is a victory.
Our school counselors and support staff are available to help students navigate life's challenges. We encourage our entire community to lead with empathy this month and every month.
