The Sch'dy Police Department's "Schenectady Cares Program" recently shared a list of resources for those living with a substance abuse disorder. The list of services & providers is a available on our website: https://www.schenectadyschools.org/page/resources-substance-abuse


Duane Avenue will be closed today between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm. Please use an alternate route when dropping off and picking up students from school. Thank you!

Important: GIRLS INC has been canceled for today. If your child usually take the bus to this program, they will need to be picked up from school no later than 2:10pm.

Reminder: There is no afterschool program for students today- Wednesday, May 24th. All students must be picked up by 2:10pm.

Dear Families and Caregivers- There was a lock down drill held at school this morning. The alarm is still going off outside the building. We are working on turning it off. We wanted to notify you that there is no immediate danger and teaching and learning has resumed. Thank you!

This week students from MLK and PV engaged in various STEAM activities at school during spring recess. Some activities included flying classroom, building kites, designing boats to have a race off, and many other experiments. What a great week it has been!
