MLK was placed in a secure safety measure at different points during the day today due to police activity in the area. Police advised us that the situation was resolved around dismissal time. There was increased presence from our community engagement officers during dismissal time out of an abundance of caution. A secure safety measure is when everyone is brought indoors and exterior doors are locked. Teaching and learning takes place as usual within the school. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
