Oneida Middle School

NOTE TO 8TH GRADE PARENTS One hundred and fifty 8th graders will have an opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to connect with our nation's history by visiting museums, monuments, and landmarks. The trip will include a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) tour. Each middle school will select 50 students through a lottery drawing. Please look out for a parent interest survey to have your student added to the drawing. Additional information will be provided through a parent meeting at a later date.

Attention: 8th graders and 8th grade families. We are excited to offer a variety of informational sessions to showcase the programs offered at Schenectady High School. We know the options and programs can seem overwhelming, but we're here to help, and make the transition as seamless as possible. Please find a session that works for your schedule and join us at the specified time and location. We look forward to seeing all future patriots and their families in attendance.

There are some 'soup'er things going on at Oneida and our faculty and staff can really get down in the kitchens. The weather is a bit 'chili' as it was the day before a holiday weekend. We didn't want to jinx things since we aren't 'soup-erstitious' and the the winner didn't become a 'bouillonaire'. But we certainly had some fun since we do 'stock' pile the best faculty and staff.. if you didn't know that we'll shout a little 'chowder'. 'Soup-erb' job to the winners of our second annual soup, chili & chowder cook off; Mrs. Palmeri, Ms.Forte and Ms. Abdoo. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend!

Good Afternoon: A friendly reminder to our families that today at 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm is our Parent Night Book Fair. Come take a look at our fair and purchase a book or two for your child.
