The first Friday in May is School Lunch Hero Day, dedicated to those men and women who make the cafeterias and the schools a better place to be! What was your favorite school lunch? Do you remember the smiling face who served it to you?

PBIS Character Trait of the Month: Mindful. This month, our Paige Pandas 🐼 will be mindful of themselves and others❤️Mindful means paying close attention to what you are doing, feeling, or thinking. It also means being kind and careful with your actions.
Examples:
-When you eat slowly and taste each bite, you are being mindful
-When you listen carefully to your friend without interrupting, you are being mindful
-When you notice how you are feeling and take deep breaths to calm down, you are being mindful

Jewish American Heritage Month, observed every May in the United States, was established through a proclamation by President George W. Bush in 2006. This recognition commemorates over 350 years of Jewish contributions to American culture. Click here for more information: https://www.jewishheritagemonth.gov/

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This month reminds us to reach out to loved ones and provide support to colleagues, friends and family who may be struggling in silence – but also a reminder to care for ourselves. By simply starting a conversation and providing words of encouragement, kindness and help, you can make the difference for someone at work, at home, in your community – or even for yourself. ❤️ #MHAM2025
