Ms. Eichele became the Assistant Principal of Yates Elementary School in July 2016. Prior to Yates, Ms. Eichele taught English Language Art for grade 5, 6, 7, & 8. She also has experience as a reading and AIS teacher. Ms. Eichele also serves as a mentor to new administrators in the Schenectady City School District.

Ms. Eichele enjoys working in Schenectady because she is able to promote a positive learning environment by making meaningful connections with students and parents. As an administrator in Schenectady, Ms. Eichele assists with creating curriculum, implementing professional development and triangulating data to improve student achievement. She is eager to continue serve Schenectady and work collaboratively with our staff, families and the community to create lifelong learners.
