🐝 This year, the Zoller Elementary cafeteria diverted 18,530 lbs of food scraps from the landfill.
🍉 Since the program began, Zoller has diverted 45,000+ lbs of food waste to the compost pile, which is then used in school gardens across Schenectady City School District.

REMINDER of schedule change for this week due to the extremely warm temperature forecasted.
-> Students in grades Pre-K through 8 will attend a half day of school Monday through Friday.
Friday is the last day of school for elementary and middle school students.

June 23 - 27
Elementary and middle school dismissal times this week are as follows:
Grades Pre-K through 5: 11 a.m.
Grades 6 - 8: 11:45 a.m.

Due to the extremely warm temperatures expected next week, we are changing the schedule to half days of school for students in Grades Pre-K-8.
June 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 will be a half days of school.
Regents will take place at the high school as scheduled.

🌍Dr. Cotto walked in the CDYMCA African Heritage Parade in downtown Albany last weekend. Since 2019, the parade has marked the beginning of the Capital District's Juneteenth celebrations.
