The first annual SHS Tri-M Music Honor Society's Winter Concert food drive collected over 150 non-perishable food items to help our community. A World of Traditions on One Tree 🌍🎄

If you visit 80 Nott Terrace this week, you’ll see more than just a 12-foot tree—you’ll see a celebration of our global community.

Our Adult Education ESL and GED students from across the globe took great pride in hand-designing ornaments for our "Holidays Around the World" tree. These beautiful pieces represent the heritage and heart of our students, featuring designs from China, Mexico, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Haiti, Korea, Japan, and the USA.

We are so proud of our adult learners and the diverse cultures that make Schenectady such a vibrant place to live and learn. If you stop by there, pause and check out their incredible work.

Under the direction of Megan Phelps and co- directed by Lisa Longe and Kristen Olochnowiz , Woodlawn 4th and 5th graders recorded three musical selections at the WMHT studios in November, where students experienced real life conditions of performing. They were welcomed into a green room space, brought into a recording studio, and filmed by the WMHT crew.

🎶 Watch on 12/23 @ 9:00 p.m. to see Woodlawn’s performance. Full schedule at https://www.wmht.org/music-for-the-holidays/
