🎆 Happy Fourth of July
On this day in 1776, the adoption of the Declaration of Independence marked the birth of our nation, founded on the powerful ideals of liberty, equality, and the pursuit of happiness.
For our schools, today is a reminder of the history that shapes us and the shared responsibility we have to teach, inspire, and uphold these values for the generations to come. 🇺🇸
🗽 What We’re Celebrating Today:
Unity: Coming together as a diverse community to celebrate our shared journey.
Freedom: Honoring the liberties we enjoy and the brave individuals who protect them.
Progress: Remembering our history while working together toward a brighter, more inclusive future for all our students.
Whether you are watching fireworks, hosting a backyard barbecue, or just enjoying a relaxing day off with family, we wish you a safe and joyful holiday.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas were informed of their freedom. Today, we recognize the significance of this day in American history and celebrate the strength, culture, and contributions of Black communities.
We hope you take this day to reflect on the contributions of Black Americans and the lasting impact they have had on our communities, our country, and our daily lives!
