The Schenectady City School District will hold a public hearing regarding the renewal application submitted for Destine Preparatory Charter School.
New York State Education Law requires that the school district in which a charter school is located hold a public hearing to solicit comments from the community on charter school applications and renewal requests.

Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Location: 530 Liberty St., Schenectady, NY 12305
Members of the public are invited to attend and provide oral or written comments regarding the charter school's renewal application.

As the excitement of the first two weeks settles down and we settle back into our daily school routines, it’s important to focus on the bigger picture: getting every single one of our students across that graduation stage.
To accomplish this, we need our students in school every day. Attendance has never been more important.. to be successful, you have to be present!
If your student is struggling with attendance, you don't have to navigate it alone. We offer a wide range of support services, including attendance specialists, counselors, and teachers who are here to help.

🚙 Thank you to Capitaland Subaru for choosing 15 Schenectady High School classrooms through the annual Subaru Loves Learning initiative. Each teacher received $500 to provide funding and essential supplies to their classes.
