🐕🦺 An aspiring animal trainer with a passion for the arts has been named SkillsUSA Student of the Year at Capital Region BOCES.🎖This is the second year in a row a Schenectady student has received the honor.
Nadia Nunn is completing her second year of the Digital Media Design program at the Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical Education Center.
Though she aspires to a career working with animals, Nunn has an artistic side and is using the Digital Media program to broaden her skills and open new mediums for her to work with.
“The Digital Media program is helping me gain experience and expand my knowledge of the arts. It has allowed me to use a different medium for expressing myself,” she said.
She will attend SUNY Cobleskill next year in pursuit of an animal sciences degree, but also plans to use the skills she has learned in Digital Media Design to earn money and express herself.
