Last night it was reported that a student heard from another student that a threat was made toward Central Park Middle School. Our CEOs were immediately contacted and they investigated. Following the investigation, it was determined that the threat was not credible at this time, meaning there was no intent to follow through or cause harm. We take every threat seriously. Please continue to remind students if they see or hear something that seems suspicious to always report it. We wish you a meaningful Yom Kippur! Yom Kippur means "Day of Atonement" in Hebrew. This is the holiest Jewish holiday of the year and ends the ten days of High Holidays of "Days of Awe" which begins with Rosh Hashanah.

Everyone is invited to the Safety Fair on October 24 from 3-6 p.m. at Schenectady High School. Several vendors will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate how the weapons screening devices work. We will also be looking for feedback.
