Congrats to SHS JROTC student Alyssa Cook who earned a Flight Certificate JROTC Badge. She was pinned with wings at a special ceremony at Schenectady High School this morning. Amazing!

🏃🏿♂️💨September 15, 2023 was officially proclaimed Derek Adams Day in Schenectady by Mayor McCarthy. Derek is a student at Zoller Elementary who recently won gold at the AAU Junior Olympics, and is currently the fastest 9-year-old in the country! #SchenectadyRising #GoldMedal
