Why Smart Tech?

The Smart Tech program equips Early College students with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in today's technology-driven world. Through this pathway, students earn both a high school diploma and an Associate degree in 4–6 years, combining hands-on learning experiences with mentorship from industry experts who are shaping the fields students are stepping into.

By pairing college-level coursework with real-world mentorship in a specific tech field, Smart Tech students graduate with both a credential and a clear head start toward a career in one of today's fastest-growing industries.

Biotechnology A.S.

  • Overview: This program prepares students for transfer to baccalaureate programs in Biotechnology and related fields by providing foundational coursework in biology, biotechnology laboratory techniques, and mathematics.

Programming for Game Design A.S.

  • Overview: This program teaches students to design and code websites, learn programming languages, and develop an understanding of game design principles. Students will develop effective communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and work to develop a portfolio of game designs and programming samples.
