Attention Graduating Seniors! SUNY Schenectady is offering a free summer class: Exploring a Career in Childcare – running July 7–24, 2025. Thanks to grant funding, tuition is fully covered for students graduating within 3 months or those who already have a diploma. This hybrid course includes: Live online classes (Week 1) Self-paced modules + in-person CPR/BLS training (Week 2) In-person sessions at SUNY Schenectady (Week 3) You'll also meet local employers hiring for paid apprenticeships, which could lead to a Lead Teacher role in childcare! Congratulations to Schenectady Junior Joe Hargraves who was one of four members on the Schenectady/Mohonasen/Schalmont Lacrosse Team who received Colonial Council honors for high level of play during the Spring 2025 Lacrosse season.

UPDATE Due to the weather forecast tomorrow (Tuesday), we are postponing the Unified PE event. The new date is Monday, June 16. (Earlier we posted that the reschedule date is June 17 but due to Regents testing, we moved it up to June 16). Sorry for any confusion.
