🎻 Schenectady High School is proud to share that two of our student musicians, Zoe Daniels (flute) and Ayden Chrisman (violin) were selected to perform at this year's NYSSMA All State Festival in Rochester, NY 🎶
Each year, the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) hosts a conference showcasing elite performing ensembles made up of the most accomplished high school musicians in New York State. Zoe and Ayden are off to Rochester today for rehearsals leading up to a performance at the Eastman Theatre on Saturday evening. Congratulations to them both, we are so proud of you!

You can access your student's report card immediately via the Parent Portal Backpack.
How to Access:
1. Log in to the Parent Portal.
2. Click on “More” located on the left-hand menu.
3. Select “Backpack”.

🌟 Real-World Learning for SHS students🌟
SHS students had an amazing experience participating in the Junior Achievement Job Shadow program at the Marriott Hotel in Albany last week.
They explored a wide range of careers in the hospitality industry from Marriott team members. Students discovered how teamwork, communication, and customer service keep a hotel running successfully. This impactful experience also helped students connect what they’re learning in Introduction to Business and Entrepreneurship to real-world career pathways.
