This Thursday during the school day, testing takes place across our respective campuses.
Here is what you need to know for your grade level:
10th & 11th Graders (PSAT/NMSQT): Take this opportunity to practice your test-taking skills, build confidence, and explore future pathways.
For 11th graders specifically, this test serves as the entry point for the National Merit Scholarship Program!
12th Graders (SAT): Keep your options open for college and post-high school plans by tackling the SAT.
What to Remember:

🎒 What to bring: Get a good night's rest, eat a solid breakfast, and a positive outlook.

Durham School Services has experienced severe vandalism overnight, impacting their entire fleet. As a result, Durham buses will be unable to run routes this morning.
Police are currently on-scene investigating, and we are working with alternative bus vendors to secure backup transportation.
If you are able, we strongly encourage you to drive, carpool, or walk your student to school today.
We sincerely apologize for this disruption and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through this unexpected situation.

On Friday, October 2, our district will participate in our annual required Emergency Early Dismissal Drill.
All students will be dismissed 15 minutes earlier than their regularly scheduled dismissal time.
This annual drill is a required test of our emergency communication systems and safety protocols to ensure our schools and families are prepared in the event of an unscheduled early dismissal.
Important Details for October 2 :
* All schools will release students 15 minutes early. Please adjust your schedule or transportation arrangements accordingly.
*All elementary after-school programs are cancelled for the afternoon.
* All middle and high school sporting events and athletic practices will proceed as scheduled.
If you have any questions regarding dismissal procedures for your child, please contact your school’s main office.
