All schools and offices in the district will be closed on Friday, May 22, and Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.
Because we did not use all our contingency snow days this year, we are pleased to provide this extended four-day weekend for our students and staff.

The Passionate People award highlights the dedicated employees of our district who go above and beyond to support student success. We honor each of these individuals for their deep commitment to the community and for being the "heart" of our schools.

To apply, families must reside within the Schenectady City School District. Age requirements are as follows:
3-Year-Old Program: Child must be 3 on or before December 1, 2026.
4-Year-Old Program: Child must be 4 on or before December 1, 2026.
Note: Children already eligible for Kindergarten this fall are not eligible for the 4-year-old UPK program.
