Happy National School Counseling Week, Feb. 3-7.
The theme of this year’s week is “School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive.” What does it mean to thrive? Thriving means growing, succeeding and feeling fulfilled in all areas of your life, and Mrs. Clements want to help you achieve that! There are several areas where she can help you thrive, including your academic growth, your emotional well-being and your career exploration.

PBIS Character Trait of the Month: Patience. This month, our Paige Pandas 🐼 will practice being patient. When you do this you are showing calm self-control and waiting with a happy heart
Patience is an important life skill that helps children learn to cope with stress, regulate emotions, and handle challenging situations.
There are many age-appropriate ways to teach and practice this skill. Consider playing games, using a sand timer, increasing wait times, and modeling the behavior you want them to demonstrate.
Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history.
