What a great PBIS Kick Off! 💙🤍 PBIS is a proactive approach Yates’ uses to improve school safety and promote positive behavior. The focus of PBIS is prevention, not punishment. With PBIS, Yates teaches students positive behavior strategies. Our school has developed a set of agreements for your child's behavior at school. We will teach these agreements to all of our students, and we will recognize students who meet them at our monthly assemblies.

News from Nurse Terry Yates Elementary School will be sending a rapid covid test kit home with every student on Monday, September 19th. Administration of these tests is voluntary. The test is only valid for 12 months after the expiration date printed on the box. If you have any questions regarding the administration of the tests, please contact the nurse. Thank you so much.
